ABOUT THE OWNER
Gabriel moved from Brazil to Canada back in 2015 and soon was working in the painting industry. In his first job, he was hired as a painter. In this job, he was focused on learning the trade and improving his skills. He was lucky to have a great first teacher. His boss was an excellent professional focused on the details to deliver a high-quality product.
After one year of working for this company, Gabriel decided to pursue another opportunity. He was also hired as a painter but soon was in charge of managing his job site, his colleagues and responsible to deliver the final product to the client. As he gained experience and confidence he was promoted to General Manager. In the new position, Gabriel was responsible for all painter's teams, project managing all contracts, admin systems updates and he was also partially responsible for business development. As a result, sales have increased by 30% and positive client feedback also increased exponentially.
Gabriel’s background has always been entrepreneurship, focused primarily on customer services. Back in Brazil, he had his own company. He was managing 11 full-time employees, all contracts and clients. Here in Canada, he quickly understood he needed to improve his business skills, learning the Canadian ways. That is why he enrolled at the BCIT Entrepreneurship Program. This program gave him a solid base to start his own painting business.
Today, owning his own painting company, Gabriel knows that the job is only as good as client satisfaction. He prides himself, train and inspires his staff to deliver to the best possible job, meeting all clients expectations in a very direct way, to the point.
